Forever Morgans Rescue is searching for an adoptive home for HVK My Flaire Lady.

Flaire was an English pleasure horse for the majority of her life, bringing home the ribbons at A-shows out west, including OKC. She has produced five foals but is not recommended for breeding. She was retired from the show ring and lessons in 2008 and ended up at an Amish farm in 2015. When she would not settle, the Amish gentleman called us, as we have a working relationship with him.

Flaire is sound. She loves treats. When she is at her normal weight, she's said to be an easy keeper. Her ground manners are good, she listens to her handler even when she wants grass. She is at ease in her barn, watching what goes on and assessing. No known health issues nor vices.

Her past owners claim that she is hot and spicy under saddle, then again she was in show horse mode. She had a job to do; she was not a pet by any means. Isn't it time that someone loves her just for herself? Gives her treats, takes her out for grazing and walks? Shows her the beauty of a trail ride perhaps? She may be 23 but she has a stunning sparkle in her eye. Who will show her a life outside of the show ring?

Forever Morgans is a breed rescue made up of volunteers who help Morgans in dire straits find new homes. We are a virtual barn with no facility. Our rescued horses are in foster care all over the country. Forever Morgans works with other rescues, brokers, and individuals to identify horses in need or at risk, and then helps those horses find forever homes. We are committed to each horse we rescue for his or her lifetime and, for that reason, an adoption contract is required when adopting a horse from Forever Morgans.

We also ask that you consider fostering a horse. Our rescue efforts rely on the generosity of our members and foster homes. The number of horses we rescue is directly related to the availability of foster homes. Information on our foster program can be found on our website, and a list of adoptable Morgans can be found there as well.

Forever Morgans relies exclusively on private donations and fundraising to fulfill our mission. We are a 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. We invite you to join us on our Facebook page or learn more about us from our website.
