ADOPTION FEE: Waived

Forever Morgans Rescue is searching for an adoptive home for Nonesuch Suddenly. Nonesuch Suddenly is a Special Needs horse, which means that the adoption fee will be waived on the condition that the contract between the adopter and FM is amended to include specific agreements about future treatment and training.

Suddenly is a former Amish driving horse with an undiagnosed hind limb injury. She has had a chiropractic treatment and is improved, but needs further diagnostics to determine the exact issue and whether or not it can be resolved. She showed some response to fetlock flexion, so diagnostic nerve blocks are recommended to differentiate a lower versus upper limb issue.

It is unknown whether Suddenly is broke to ride and, at this point, it is unknown whether Suddenly would ever be rideable or if she will remain a pasture pet. Regardless, she should not be driven or ridden until a diagnosis is made. She is an elegant mare with nice manners and a beautiful coat. She behaves perfectly for the vet during exams and when getting her booster shots. She clips, stands tied quietly, and she loves attention! Suddenly is simply a lovely, well-behaved mare who is looking for someone to take a chance on her!

Forever Morgans is a breed rescue made up of volunteers who help Morgans in dire straits find new homes. We are a virtual barn with no facility. Our rescued horses are in foster care all over the country. Forever Morgans works with other rescues, brokers, and individuals to identify horses in need or at risk, and then helps those horses find forever homes. We are committed to each horse we rescue for his or her lifetime and, for that reason, an adoption contract is required when adopting a horse from Forever Morgans. We also ask that you consider fostering a horse. Our rescue efforts rely on the generosity of our members and foster homes. The number of horses we rescue is directly related to the availability of foster homes. Information on our foster program can be found on our website, and a list of adoptable Morgans can be found there as well. Forever Morgans relies exclusively on private donations and fundraising to fulfill our mission. We are a 501c3 organization and all donations are tax deductible. We invite you to join us on our Facebook page or learn more about us from our website.
