NOTE: We will remove any ads over 12 months old, so if you still haven't found your perfect Morgan, please e-mail us a new wanted ad. Looking for a hunter pleasure/equitation mount: I am looking for a very competitive Morgan Hunter to be shown in the senior division on the New England Morgan Circuit and the Grand National. Must be 15.1 hands or larger and between the ages of 5 and 10. Can be younger if they've had show experience. We need a horse that will stand out in the competitive hunter classes. Does not have to be equitated, but that would be a big plus! Color is not that big of a deal but preferably bay/black/chestnut/etc. Any horses you have please email me at jdjdavis608@gmail.com with pictures/info, thank you for your time. Ideal would be something that we could show western pleasure, BUT anything safe and sane that would make a good confidence builder would be great. Small is ok! 14.2+ mare or gelding. We would love a Morgan with nice type and classic good looks. Color is not important. Age 6+ would be great, as we would like a horse that has been there and done that. Trail experience is a must. An older or retired show horse is fine too! Will mostly be used as a pleasure trail/family horse, but maybe a show here and there. If you feel you may have a match, please email us with all info at themartinfamily2006@gmail.com. (posted 3/12/08) Bombproof Registered Morgan Horse Wanted for our children. I am an experienced horsewoman with over 50 years of horseowning and riding, including extensive formal training. The ideal horse will be a classic "old time" Morgan with some size (should be 14.3 or better as I'm 5'8"). Horse will primarily be used for trail riding, but I also love arena work and light dressage so should be light in the bridle, know its gait cues and work off the legs. Horse should be good in a group or be comfortable going out alone - trail experience with water crossing etc. is a plus. Driving is a huge plus for me as I have thousands of miles of dirt roads and a strong desire to begin driving again. I am willing and able to take a show horse and make it into a trail mount. An excellent home guaranteed (with references) - cool Arizona mountains in the summer and warm desert in the winter - a horse's dream home!
