Offered for sale to a good home, "Woody" is an 18 year old handsome gelding with proven show record in both western and hunt seat arenas.

Purchased to be a mount for an older advanced beginner rider for basic W/T/C, Woody has since proven to need his own confident, more experienced rider. While he gives great feelings WTC under saddle, he's not steady enough for a beginner or lesson program at this time. He needs to be set up for right lead canter (slight counter position), but this gets easier every time you tack him up.

He is currently not suitable for trail riding or hacking out. After arriving at our farm, Woody did have some veterinary maintenance performed to keep him comfortable after five years without help. Happy to discuss with serious buyers.

Woody would make a great horse for an intermediate rider or adult amateur looking to build a special partnership in and out of the arena. He is ready and willing to go out and show training and first level with the right person. He is the sweetest guy on the ground, excellent manners, and is good for farrier, vet, etc. Price reflects age and maintenance, but offers are welcome. Videos available upon request.
