If you love the great outdoors and want a sound, trailworthy partner for fun and adventure, this wonderful gelding is ready to meet up and hit the trails this fall!

"Tony" has a pleasant, easygoing disposition. He was purchased two years ago for my husband to trail ride and camp, but circumstances made him my primary mount. He is fit and ridden regularly, has had many trail hours in a variety of terrain and conditions, basic dressage lessons, and has participated in multi-day under-saddle and in-hand obstacle clinics.

He is not very forward, he goes along quietly in the middle or end of a group of horses. Although he's not a leader, he's gaining confidence riding out solo. He is well mannered for the veterinarian and farrier, and has excellent hoof quality (never shod, ridden in boots when needed). However, Tony has anxiety associated with trailer transport, which is not compatible with my riding activities.

He needs a confident rider and would thrive riding in lessons and/or hacking out on trails from his home stable. His trailer issues might improve with a steady buddy consistently riding along. This lovely horse will bring someone much happiness in the right situation.
