| We are pleases to be offering Ploughman’s Graceful Finn selectively for sale to the right breeding or training program. This weanling stud colt is turning out the be a beautiful example of a Morgan. With strong Lippitt lines, he should mature into a typey and classically beautiful stallion.
His sire is 100% Lippitt and his dam has significant Lippitt, Lambert, and Brunk lines. He is well defined with large bone, straight legs and he's gaining height at a young age. He is currently sticking at 11.2 hands at just 5 months old. He is expected to produce sport horse lines that will stand out. Finn’s dam has a really nice pedigree rich in the historic Caven-Glo lines bred by Eve Oakley, an excellent breeder out of Vermont. Finn’s sire was bred by Grace Yaglou, an excellent breeder of Lippitt Morgans with two crosses to Ryegate horses. The Ryegate prefix was used by Lester Welch. He's been handled daily since he was foaled with a basic horsemanship base. He stands nicely for the farrier, leads well and loves to be groomed all over. We expect to wean him off in a few weeks. |
