He has also excelled in western dressage. In his first year competing, he traveled to Oklahoma City to earn outstanding scores crowning him— - Western Dressage Intro Level Open World Champion - Western Dressage Intro Level Test 2 Open Grand National Champion - Western Dressage Intro Level Test 4 Open Reserve Grand National Champion and - Sport Horse In-Hand Reserve World Champion - Sport Horse In-Hand Stallions/Geldings Reserve Grand National Champion Kona is forward moving, but well behaved, and is learning to listen to his rider in the ring. He just finished participating in his first State Fair experience and he was a rockstar! Loved all the attention, didn't mind the people, baby strollers, draft horses, tractors pushing dumpsters, ATV's racing around, or cows or pigs squealing! AND, he discovered his love of soft serve swirl ice cream!
