| Large pony dressage prospect looking for a keen partner!
Smart and pretty, this well bred gelding would do well with an intermediate rider with a coach to develop further. Currently green and very willing to learn, he trailers well, full body clips, bathes, and isn’t reactive to all daily activities like tying, sprays or other stimuli. Correct, with great feet and clean legs, he has just one minor blemish. He's been trailered out to day and overnight shows, and will continue to do so until sold. He has lots of life skills! Show horse blood on the sire's side means "Rhy" comes out ready to work, and can be anxious and green. However, he is reasonable and is keen to be worked with. He has a large, marching walk when working over his back, and is now starting to learn how to stretch at the trot. He learned canter leads quickly and will develop strength with time, we're not rushing the training process on this horse. He hacks out alone and as a pair. Untested in a group setting. He’s been slow maturing, and in the right hands he'll make a lovely reliable mount. Up to date on vaccines, teeth and farrier, and he's handled daily. He prefers to live out with company, and feels most comfortable staying with other horses – not alone. Turns in during poor weather. Closer to top of the herd in our small herd dynamic. Raised and trained on a working beef farm with vast exposure to moving machinery and many distractions, this gelding is rational and responsive, and is just waiting to soak up all the attention of a new owner. |
